Voting Period – October 18 to 24, 2022

Beginning Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at 10 a.m., Clarington voters can cast their vote electronically using the internet or telephone to elect the following offices:

• One Mayor
• Two Regional Councillors
• Four Local Councillors
• School Board Trustees
• Regional Chair

Voting closes on Monday, October 24, 2022, at 8 p.m., and the results will be posted on our website and social media after 8 p.m. once the results have been calculated.

If you are an eligible Clarington voter, verify that you are on the voters’ list. Update your information or add your name to the list as soon as possible. Making sure the voters’ list is accurate ensures a smoother voting experience for everyone.

Contributing to a campaign

Individuals, trade unions, and corporations may only contribute a maximum of $1,200 to a single candidate’s campaign and a maximum of $5,000 to two or more candidates running for office on the same council or board.
